What does Easter Sunrise mean?

Easter Sunrise is a service held to mark the empty tomb that greeted Mary as dawn broke on Easter morning. It is a service held early enough for church congregants to witness the dawn’s first rays together.

Did you know? In 1773, America’s first Sunrise Service was held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina?

We invite you come to our joint Sunrise service with Clark’s Chapel in Weaverville, NC.
