Sunday Service April 19, 2020

Good Morning Salem Church, I am so thankful for each of you and your willingness to try new ways to stay connected as we live through these unprecedented times.

I am looking forward to studying with you today during our “zoom” Bible Study at 10:00am. We are walking through Paul’s letter the Romans with today’s focus on Romans 2:17-3:8. Information on how to connect through zoom is at the bottom of this email.

Pastor Marjory Kiess from Alexander is also offering an 8-week Bible Study – Journey through the Psalms. This too is a “zoom” Bible Study. Journey through the Psalms is being offered on Mondays at 6:30pm. This Study begins on April 27th. Please contact Pastor Marjory to get connected with this study.

We have been invited to join our District Superintendent, Rev. Beth Crissman, and the church of the Blue Ridge District in joint worship service offered by the District Office.

This special worship offering can be found on the Blue Ridge District Webpage.

Stir in our hearts and remind us of your presence. Work wonderfully through all of our health professionals, first responders, and officials as we seek mitigate the spread of COVID-19. You, O Lord, are our Great Physician; we place our trust in you. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, keep us strong that we might continue to shine with your love. Utilize our willing spirit to sow hope in the hearts of though around us. Unite us in your love for you are our God and you are good. All this we prayer in the strong and gentle name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.

God Bless each of you.
